NEW YORK – Paula Cooper Gallery is pleased to present a group exhibition of photography. Works in this show, range from Walid Raad’s examination of the socio-political ramifications of wars waged in Lebanon, to Sam Durant’s depiction of a wax figure and Sophie Calle’s The Sleepers, a project in which she invited 24 people to occupy her bed continuously for eight days. Highlighted throughout the exhibition is the varied nature of the medium. On view from December 9, 2009 – January 15, 2010 at 465 West 23rd Street.
