Christian Marclay’s acclaimed installation has captivated audiences worldwide. 24 hours long, The Clock (2010) is a montage of thousands of film and television images of clocks, edited together to show the actual time.
This marks the first presentation of The Clock in Berlin and will be on view in the Neue Nationalgalerie’s newly constructed cinema space, the Miles Glass Hall.
Since its debut in 2010 in London and awarded the Golden Lion at the 54th Venice Biennale in 2011, The Clock has been exhibited in major museums such as MoMA in New York, Tate Modern in London, Yokohama in Japan, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, and the MCA in Sydney.
