On December 25, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo will open the first substantial museum survey of Sol LeWitt's work in Japan. Sol LeWitt: Open Structure presents a comprehensive overview of the artist’s expansive practice, bringing together wall drawings, structures, works on paper, and artist’s books. Through this body of work, LeWitt radically transformed the terms of artistic production, redefining authorship and process while fundamentally challenging traditional notions of expression and craft.
