Created in close collaboration with the artist, Something Missing? presents seven of Sophie Calle's major series featuring several recent works. The exhibition contains over 300 items displayed across the museum’s entire West Wing.
Included in the exhibition is Calle's early series, The Blind (1986), a recent acquisition by the Louisiana Collection. This work represents an artistic interplay between word and image, fact and imagination, cultural cliché and something intimately personal. Calle's series Voir la mer (To See the Sea) from 2011 will also be on view.
