This autumn, Turner Contemporary presents Sophie Calle: Something Missing?, the artist’s first institutional exhibition in the UK in over fifteen years. Bringing together major works spanning photography, film and installation from 1986–2024, the exhibition explores themes of memory, disappearance and longing by one of the most influential artists of our time. The exhibition features works from five different series by Calle, including The Blind (1986), Voir la Mer (2011), Purloined (Turner) (1998–2013), On the Hunt (2017–2024), and Catalogue Raisonné of the Unfinished (2023).
The exhibition was organized by Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Humlebæk, in collaboration with Turner Contemporary, Margate, and De Pont Museum, Tilburg.
