Creative Time announces the commission of Sophie Calle’s Here Lie the Secrets of the Visitors of Green-Wood Cemetery, 25 year long new public artwork co-presented with Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn. The project will debut with a two day long inaugural event on April 29th and 30th, 2017. The artist will be present on April 29th and 30th from 12 – 5 PM.

Sophie Calle has been nominated for the 2017 Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize, along with Dana Lixenberg, Taiyo Onorato and Nico Krebs, and Awoiska van der Molen. Works by the four shortlisted photographers will be exhibited at The Photographers’ Gallery from 3 March 3 - June 11, 2017 and subsequently presented at the Museum für Moderne Kunst in Frankfurt from June 29 - September 17, 2016.

As part of the PEN World Voices Festival, Sophie Calle will participate in a panel about melancholy at the Rubin Museum in NYC on Saturday, April 30th, at 5pm. Other panelists are poet Wayne Koestenbaum and a Hungarian essayist László F. Földényi.
